Founded in 2020, Casa Ranch Montessori is currently a homeschool cooperative group that conducts indoor and outdoor classes. Our community of parents and teachers are grounded and passionate about staying committed to following an authentic Montessori curriculum and eco-school sustainable program. We are seeking educators that are well-versed and interested in growing with us, while making an impact on the lives of children and our community.

Things we are looking for:

Education Degree, Forest School Credential, or Montessori Credential for this position is a plus!

  • At least 1 year experience working with children

  • The ability to run after small children, crouch on the ground and lift up to 50 lbs.

  • Exhibits sensitivity and empathy for the needs and feelings of others

  • Enjoys being with children ages 3-12

  • Has a basic understanding of child development and behavior

  • Enjoys facilitating problem solving with both adults and children

  • Has a calm, proactive approach to life’s trying moments

  • Can work independently and collaborate as part of a team

  • Does not mind teaching/working in the outdoors

Casa Ranch Montessori is magical, creative, open-minded, and exciting place to spend your days.

Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

Must be available, on call, to fill in during a teacher’s absence

  • Assisting in setting up the environment, activities, and providing creative and
    stimulating learning experiences.

  • Assisting children with Montessori lessons.

  • Supervising children.

  • Facilitating positive social interactions and productive play.

  • Adhering to the Montessori philosophy, policies and mission of Casa Ranch Montessori.

  • Helping in general housekeeping tasks.

  • Treating all Casa Ranch Montessori community members (adults and children) with dignity and respect.
